ABOUT SARAH MILES

My Personal Approach
As a psychotherapy practitioner, I am down-to-earth and practical, and will say things as I see them! Our time together is valuable, and I believe that a straightforward approach fosters clarity and mutual understanding to build a solid foundation for the work ahead.
Offering a Fair, Honest, Guiding Hand
I am here to be your supporter and in your corner, to help you work through the challenges you're facing.
Importantly, this doesn't mean that therapy will be easy. Being your support doesn't mean that I am your cheerleader; it means that I am here to help you, to sit with you and sometimes challenge unhelpful patterns - all whilst you feel seen, heard, understood and, crucially, accepted.
Taking Time for Self-care
I understand just how hard it can be for us to choose to take a step back from our busy lives and seek help when we most need it. Often, there's simply too much to do, to pause and reflect on what's truly going on for us.
However, I also believe we all know that wellbeing is a vital part of us being able to be the best we can be - both for ourselves and for others.
Support for Individuals and Families in Farming
Working in agriculture comes with a unique set of pressures, and as someone actively involved in the farming community, I have a deep understanding of how these challenges can weigh on our mental health.
It's easy to fall into the habit of just "getting on with it," but the truth is, the impact on our wellbeing can spread far beyond the farm gate, affecting our relationships, our physical health, and our ability to thrive.
If you're looking for a confidential space to discuss the issues you're grappling with right now, and to develop practical strategies for coping and building resilience, I'm here to listen and guide you. Please feel free to give me a call.
